Project 365, Week 25

This week there are lots of reno pictures. With school being out, its definitely what our time is consumed with. We're anxious to get out of the space we're currently in and anxious to not have the project hanging over our heads. But also, its a lot. What I like about it is, even though there is arguing and grumbling, its good to get the together time.

Love it when the house is full of friends.

Decisions. So many decisions. But made easier by my sweet little committee.

Evening soccer, watching Amanda do what her body was created to do. Beyond soccer skills, she's learning how to deal with controversy and things that are unfair.

We caught the sunset on the ride home. A gift.

Maddy had a spare couple of hours and offered to come give her assistance. She consulted on some design elements and helped us make some big decisions. Also, she's just a fun, sweet presence to have around.

The sweetest crew walking to the car after TBQ.

Entirely too many decisions, made more challenging by the long lead times on things like windows and doors and the prices are outrageous. Makes me thankful the scope of our project is relatively small.

We called this "The Last Supper". The last night for the three of us to go out to dinner together while the girls are at youth group. Impossibly, now that he's going into 7th grade, he be joining the girls every Friday night at church.

He picked Ted's Montana Grill because they serve bison steak. Because naturally, he loves bison. ;)

I got to sit and be a soccer mom early on this Saturday morning. It was a "friendly" so he switched teams at half time. Coffee and donuts were at the field and I finished a couple podcasts.

We pay the kids if they work at an apartment building or the office. They've been working really hard and today was payday. I took them to the bank and we figured out how much goes into savings, to charity and for spending.

Aiden loves a good slo-mo video so we did some takes of Dumpster Javelin Throwing, the next Olymipic sport.

Sunday began our time away so I'll include it with the next post.
