Project 365, Week 47

This week felt like the holiday season was beginning. So much fun anticipation!

November 17
Our friend threw a very small, intimate dinner in honor of Amy's birthday. Amy is usually on the planning/preparing/implementing side of celebrations, so it was nice to have it the other way around. She's a special one and I'm so glad God put us together.

November 18
Just like the breath I take, the sun rises everyday, because God causes it to be so. What comfort to know there is a "higher power" and its not all up to me.

November 20
After work I ran an errand with Avery and Jack, then we parted ways. When I got home, they were in my kitchen....what a nice surprise! Then Amanda walked around the corner, home a full five days early from school...what a nice surprise! Just like that, I had all my people hanging out in my kitchen. We lingered around the table, talking about big ideas and plans for the future. My heart was full! This is the good stuff.

November 21
My flowers were not spectacular this year, but they get points for longevity. However, I relinquished them from their responsibilities.

November 22
We worked together for a bit on basement cleanout. I love to get rid of stuff!

Its fun to watch my big kids interact with their younger cousins.

November 23
Maddy and Mason spoke at our church (and Ezra, too) and there were some familiar faces.

My sister is a grandma! :)

The boys, hanging out on a Sunday afternoon doing boys things.

Project 365, Week 46

Starting this week on Sunday to include our entire trip to Florida.

November 9
We invited our team and their people to attend the annual conference, which was held in Orlando this year. Thirteen of us, and such a great group!

Once we secured the rental van and checked in to our hotel, we set out on a highly rated kayaking adventure.

Some got out to swim in the clear water and then we headed back. That's when the skies opened up and soaked us all!

November 10
We have a dedicated team...they truly care about helping people, they love to share ideas and wrestle through strategies and challenge average.

We had the coziest spot by a gigantic fireplace. One of the girls said, "my life is so luxurious" and I agree!

Another day of conference and dinner out this night was seafood. After, everyone but me went mini-golfing. :)

November 12
Conference day 2

This team! So thankful for each one, so thankful for our business.

This little crew stayed back from the evening activity, and we had a sweet time at dinner together.

The rest went to Universal Studios, which was open just to our conference. I heard the food was great!

November 12
Headed back home...

And....on this day we welcomed a new family member! C4 and Kelly had little C5. He is just the sweetest, tiniest little package!

November 13
The boys and I went to see Hamilton for the second time at the Bushnell. Sadly, I missed most of it because I could not stay awake. I felt like I'd been drugged, probably from the busy days of conference and travel. Shaun was kind enough to elbow me when I snored. The boys enjoyed it though! :)

November 13
Finally coordinated with J to get her a ride. It brought back so many memories being in the cold barn. That smile though!

November 14
One of my favorite sights...a little boy sitting on the floor playing with Legos.

We stopped at the park to let out some energy and within minutes he'd made friends and joined in a game the dad was orchestrating. I marveled at the dad's delight and patience with this group of kids.

We also stopped at Avery's house and got to see both her and Sarah. Their apartment in so cute and cozy

B is doing theater at her high school and we went to see the Drakula performance, which was really well done. So proud of her for jumping into new things.

November 16
An Amanda sighting, ushering at church.

Jack and Avery came with me to drop Dakota back home, their first time meeting the babies. Though they came 10 week early, they are healthy and thriving.
