Project 365, Week 2

We settled into our first regular week of the new year, which meant lots of time at the office getting things ready for the tax season.

January 5
The start of a new day is a marvel to me.

January 6
Always happy to see this face!

January 7
A boy and his dog and his book.

January 8
I was unreasonably overjoyed when I drove up to the office and found the tree trimmers working at our property. We've had some dead trees and a tangle of bramble that has bothered me so much but it would be a huge undertaking for Shaun and Nathan to deal with or a very expensive project to hire out. Instead, the state (town?) did it at no cost to us and now there is a much better site line for drivers to see the sign out front of our office. The Lord provides!

January 9
This boy wrote the biggest check he's ever written to purchase his car and then conquered the beast that is the DMV to get it registered. Coming soon...his license!

January 10
A January soccer game, in the rain. Shaun and I are super fans.

"The crew" had hung out at Jack's for the day and then went to Rocco's hockey game.

January 11
Jack and Avery have begun to explore what it would look like to purchase a house. This one had been abandoned for years and then suffered fire damage. These two have such great resources in their dads and to Jack and Avery's credit, they are quick to seek out counsel and input. (It was a no on the house).
