Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love.

Sometimes my body is up for a little extra movement.  A "landmark study" came out this month:

An aerobic exercise regimen can lower death rates from colon cancer and reduce recurrence rates by roughly one-third, a new study has found. The study is the first to show a causal relationship between cancer outcomes and exercise.

Obviously my case doesn't support the study, but I still believe in the value of exercise when at all possible....partnering with and supporting our bodies instead of abusing or neglecting them.

The outside work crew stopped in.

Then Avery came to work, too. What is better than being with all my kids? Not much.

So many hours of his life have gone to legos. Its fun to watch him pick it back up.

Amanda said she looks forward to going in to work. She was made for this!

With a puzzle, I lured Avery to stop by after work. 😉

Captain's practices have already begun for the high school team. I admire Aiden's commitment and passion.

Fast progress, especially considering that border.

Our annual 6 AM visit to the farmer's market. When asked, Aiden readily agreed to get up at 5 AM on a Saturday so he could help us carry and load our finds. It was very sweet.

And beyond that, he did the planting for me. I miss doing it and I'm grateful for a strong and willing son.

Got to watch my favorite keeper doing his thing.

From there we went right to the park to meet up with Amanda and Jason and Jason's family to snap a few pictures. They've now done one Junior and two Senior proms together.

As I was reading, Avery came home and I got to see her for the first time that day. I will miss her coming in my room just before bed to catch up.

 

March's 10 on 10

The bread that I feast on, the well that I draw from. 

My strength in the morning, my peace in the evening.

This is where you'll find me, leaning on my Beloved. 

I shelter in His mercy and in the shadow of His wings.

Aiden walks Ginger in the morning and then she takes up her post, watching for the school bus.

He never leaves the house without giving me a hug and an "I love you, Mom".

Lots and lots of hours at the office. I work with amazing people and I have the best job. I sit at the front desk in the waiting room and talk with people. People who feel like old friends, people I've never met before, people I connect with, people who are very different. I genuinely care and am curious. My secret goal is to not let them sit buried in their phone while they wait. I have a pretty high success rate. :)

My other job is to keep goodies stocked. It would shock you to know the gallons of tea and piles of candy we collectively consume in a tax season.

Avery made someone's idea a reality with this fun goal board. Takes a whole lot of work to move the chains, but somehow, we get there!

My friend sent this beauty! Thank you, crocuses for being brave enough to go first. You never fail to infuse our hope that the long winter will end once again.

Sweet, sweet couple. He takes her by the hand and leads her around as she shuffles. In conversation, he mentioned it's been over four years since she has known who he is. I was nearly undone by the love, patient, care. I wondered what is his source of strength, to be able to get up and face that day after day.

I am loved like this and it takes my breath away.

Its been nice to have the NCAA tournament to watch since I don't have much left in me after the work day.

I have made at least a pot of coffee every day, well over 12,000 pots.

A hybrid-type of Ten on Ten post...

Pretty start to the day!

Amanda was still home from the weekend and she was logged into class by 8 AM.

Such a pretty view at the office.

We burn a candle all day, everyday at the office. It makes it cozy its very popular with clients.

Jack had mentioned to Avery a while back that he'd like to do a murder mystery. So, for his birthday, she surprised him with a dinner party.

Amanda worked the kitchen and served the table all evening, making it flow well and easily.  She was truly happy to serve.

Avery's guests arrived excited, a little unsure and happy to be together.

People came dressed in costumes, 1950's theater.

It was such a fun evening and Shaun and I were honored to be a part. Brought back so many treasured memories from the many years we hosted a Valentine's Murder Mystery.
