This week took some fancy coordinating to make it all happen, but with the help of a few, we got it all done! Also, we crossed into February!! And even though its freezing cold right now, in this month we'll start to have some warmish days and the early flowers will start poking through the ground. Very exciting!!

Our Easter production kickoff meeting at church! So thankful to be a part of this ministry and am in awe of the work that Brent and Amy do, taking a hundred volunteers from all walks of life and making it come together in a beautiful production.
Shaun wanted Amanda to play indoor soccer to prepare for the spring season, but it looks like this might be the only game she makes because of rehearsals. She and I got to have some nice time together in the car though.

On Sunday there was a large fire in our town at a garbage plant. Hundreds of firefighters from 14 different towns helped to put it out. Smoke was thick around town and even made it on the weather radar, 4000 feet up. Even the next day inside our house smelled like smoke. Because of the poor air quality, school was cancelled.
Avery came to work with us...watched animal videos on youtube and worked on a school project.
The others were home enjoying some rare movie time. When I walked in from work this is how I found them.

Another snow day!
This time Amanda came with us to work.

Close game for the girls, down to the final buzzer.
Both girls auditioned for parts in the kids scene.

In the midst of everyone talking over each other, clamoring to tell their day's stories on the walk home from basketball practice, I noted that it was still light out at 5:25pm! Also, I love our school walks, even when people yell, I was talking!

For months K has been working on a senior project, a winter dance. On this night it all came together. I went early to help her set up and stayed for the dance to take pictures. She seemed proud to have me there and even asked me to dance. Super sweet!

Avery attended her second year of MathCounts, a math competition at the US Coast Guard Academy. Our little school placed 13 of 24, the best we've ever done.
While we were there, Pop and Kiki picked up the kids so they could see Renna's very first dance competition. J sent me these adorable photos.
Avery and Amanda had a sleepover with two sisters who they are close with. Classmates, teammates, friends. So sweet!
That was a full week!! Thanks for supporting Renna! Yay for Avery's math team! Looks like the dance was a success!
