Project 365, Week 43

A pretty normal week full of school and soccer and family. We like normal. :)

October 22
Happy Monday morning. :)

October 23
School soccer and a train of cousins. :)

October 24
The middle school held student-led conferences. The girls had prepared a presentation of their goals and work thus far in the school year. They did a nice job, but we didn't care for the format. We ask them about school and their school work everyday...we wanted to hear their teachers perspectives. :)

October 25
Shaun's siblings attended a meeting nearby and we used it as an excuse to get together after. The little cousins are SO sweet together and Aiden is right where its at for them. All the heart eyes!!

Just Amanda and Uncle Nathan doing a photo shoot together. ;)

October 26
Chilly, chilly night for state cup semi-finals. But they won!!

October 27
Few things sweeter in life than morning snuggles from this guy. We talk about A-Z, winding our way through conversations. Sometimes it goes deep, and often its a lot of "Mom, did you know...?" followed by an obscure fact of nature that indeed I did not know. I love to hear his heart....and his trivia facts.

The weather was wet and blustery, so all activities were cancelled, allowing us a lazy day at home (with the added bonus of 3 cousins). I even allowed the TV to be on and Shaun got our fireplace going for the first time.

October 28
Speaking of cousins, we got to have these two for several days while their parents were away. Avery is uniquely gifted for children. She amazes me!

  1. As my dad would say, "Normal is highly underrated." ;)
