Project 365, Week 28

We had a few more days with the Texas family and there was also plenty of work to do on the apartment building. I'm happy with all the forms that summer takes because its warm!! :)

July 8
Shaun and I spent the day working on an apartment, but the kids got another day with cousins. I smiled at the scene when I rounded the corner to pick them up...evidence of a very fun day. :)

July 9
The older girl cousins spent the night at our house and they broke out the games first thing.

July 11
Sometimes Amanda grabs my camera and I find interesting things. Apparently this day she and Aiden were playing nicely together.

July 12
All week J was part of a leadership program put on by the police department. They did team building, community service and had speakers come in to talk about their professions or how they overcame a drug addiction or what the military is like. She wasn't happy with me for enrolling her, but she ended up loving it. They had a potluck dinner and recap of the week for the families. J won an award for the leadership she demonstrated during the week.

July 13
Aiden's 10th birthday!! He wanted Rocco to sleep over, a scavenger hunt and to go to a trampoline place. We managed to do it all. He's such a treasure to our family.

Cutest caddie ever!

July 14
After church we went with some friends to the lake on a beautiful afternoon.

Aiden's been practicing so much in the yard, Shaun felt he was ready. The golf course five minutes from our house has special hours when the kids can go for free so Shaun makes it a point to take advantage of that. I hope its the first of thousands of times that they go golfing together.

Amanda and her friend had an epic cupcake bake off. There was a winner for best presentation and a winner for best tasting.
