Project 365, Week 29

This week was Aiden's turn to be away, which left just the girls. It was their first week with no activities...definitely challenging to keep them motivated and engaged in productive things.

July 15
Bright and early, Aiden was off to kids camp with our church.

July 16
How Amanda does a photo shoot.

July 17
The girls wanted to do the beach but when I got home from work it was starting to look overcast. We opted instead to go to the lake. We swam for just a little while before the thunder and lightning began.

We went to dinner and got completely drenched running from the car to the restaurant, but it made for a fun memory. :)

July 18
Avery and Amanda both spent the night at a friend's house.

July 19
Most nights Aiden and I brush our teeth together (throwback to my years in banking, its a dual-control kind of thing ;)...I was so thankful to have him back from kids camp this night.

July 20
Sweet Boy and I spent the early morning hours outside so as to not wake the sleeping house.

Our neighbors just had a pool put in and invited a group over for a swim.

July 21
My dad invited the kids to be a part of the service at his church. It was hot and there is not good air flow in the old building, so he set up outside. Trevor and Amanda sang, Avery shared some verses, Nathanael did his Fine Arts short sermon and Renna danced (and ushered). The congregation was gracious and the kids felt special and we made sweet memories.

Later, we went to the lake and had it to ourselves.
