The leaves started changing and the weather is divine. Life is full, life is good.
October 4
I'm trying to start a Family Fondue monthly tradition...we're three for three. I love that it takes a while to work through the courses and forces us to stay a while (thanks for the photo, Aiden). Dakota was with his mom and there was no soccer...perfect!
October 5
My two girls...
...my two boys. :)
October 6
Stunning beauty everywhere.
We're so thankful to have our contractor/friend coming nearly everyday to help with the building project. Its difficult to find someone who meets Shaun's exacting standards, but Jason is that guy and he's taken a huge load off.
Strangers don't stand a chance of scrolling through their phone with Dakota and I around...we both love to strike up a conversation with people. :)
Happy Avery....her joy is infectious.
Aiden's soccer game and then the girls.
Every day the sun comes up. What a gift, what a miracle! What clear evidence of God's faithfulness.
Football. :)
Date night with a third wheel while the kids were at youth group.
I was surprised to find that Sarah had spent the night. Dakota and I got some early-morning time with her before she headed out.
Aiden and I stopped at several antique shops in town, looking for a sword to hang on the mantle at the new building. We met two of the sweetest older ladies who have lived in town a very long time. In talking, we discovered that they both knew Shaun's grandparents on both sides from way back and one of them is married to a distant relative of Shaun's. (We didn't find a sword.)
October 10
Aiden spent the day with friends...little Cole is star-struck with Aiden...THE sweetest!
