Project 365, Week 14

Lots of work and not much play this week as the tax season wound down. Around this time it really starts to wear, but its not close enough to the end to feel like it will be over soon. Like I tell my kids, its good to work the grit muscle...regularly make yourself do things that you don't want to do, or refrain from doing things you really want to do. Very often, the fullest, best version of life is on the other side.

March 31
Ginger and Aiden are always happy to see each other after a long day apart.

April 1
Aiden had a presentation at school and he and his group decided to max out the points for dressing up. He pulled out his suit and thankfully it (just) fit. So handsome!

April 2
Envelopes were stuffed and and wedding invitations were sent.

April 3
Ginger is happy we live at the front of our neighborhood where there is a steady flow of cars and walkers to monitor.

April 4
"The boys" were highlighted on IG back-to-back weeks.

April 5
Three boxes of GS cookies didn't last long on a Saturday at the office.

I didn't have it in me to go to Aiden's last indoor game but I got a picture and updates from Shaun. It was one-sided enough that they pulled Aiden from goal and let him play the field, which he had fun with.

April 6
The drizzle stopped right before the game started, which made it more enjoyable to watch.

Speaking of enjoyable to watch, the UCONN women WON!!

  1. Tagalongs are the best Girl Scout cookies and I will not be taking questions at this time.
