Project 365, Week 42

Lots of autumn pictures tucked in here just because its so beautiful.

October 14
A month and a half into the school year and we're enjoying it.

October 15
Aiden and I hit the road early for upstate New York. My aunt and uncle are selling the home they've lived in for 30 years and this was a packing week to get ready for the movers. Many people pitched in to help and Aiden and I were happy to be a small part. He was there for muscle and I was his driver. ;)

Aunt Bonnie invited me to her monthly ladies Bible study that she's been a part of for many decades. What an experience, stepping in to such tight-knit and caring group. They have supported one another through the things you support someone through when you do life together for more than 30 years and because of it, they share a special bond.

So many have been praying for me over the span on many years, many who I've never met. I can scarcely make sense of it.  What an overwhelming honor to meet these ladies and share in one of their monthly meetings...what they have is rase and special.

Also, they noted a family resemblance.

October 16
Our drive back was spectacular with fall at its peak.

October 17
I was picking Ginger up from my dad and ended up having coffee with both my dad and Shaun's dad. The three of us had a lovely time.

October 18

Late enough in the season, it was time to take the boat and dock out of the water. We had a little helper, who was unfazed by the late-season water temps

Shaun's dad came by and went fishing for the first time at our place. He and Shaun and Aiden all went out in kayaks and witnessed a gorgeous sunset!

October 19
Sundays. :)

My niece Kelly's baby shower. A classic fall day in a picturesque location, with delicious food and a room filled with a beautiful community of women.

The grandmas, Amy and Amy. :) They did a great job pulling it all together.

And FIVE great-grandmas!

Ezra is about to trade in her crown as the only niece/grandkid...in exchange, she'll get a cousin and cousins are the BEST!

Still can't believe Avery shows at at showers separate from me, and brings her own gifts.

Aiden had hosted his crew for an afternoon of watching football, foyer basketball and outdoor manhunt.
