Project 365, Week 43

Lots of fall pictures again. We relish these days now because we know winter is on the heels.

October 20
This view is at the end of our road, so pretty in rain or sun.

School, with a vacuum attachment. What a gift to have time with this boy everyday.

October 21

October 22
There's still some golf weather left.

We cleaned out the boat, getting it ready to be winterized. Feels like the winter stretches out for miles before us, but I know May will be here soon enough.

October 23
Shaun is still getting out on the kayak, though the fishing part has slowed dramatically.

October 24
We took B for the weekend and I got to see her in action with the marching band. She's been so brave to jump in to activities in her new school with new people and Sarah's done such a great job encouraging and supporting her. If my high school had been large enough I for sure would have been all about marching band.

Got a check-in picture from the boys sleepover.

October 25
What a difference it makes to have and live in community.

When I went to pick up Aiden from a morning of Faith & Football, Colombo grabbed this picture of B and I twinning. This girl's got a fighting, resilient spirit that I admire.

Amy and I had our bonus boys and our girls get along as well, so we met up at the corn maze farm for some fall fun. Eventually Jack and Avery met us there too. It was a chilly afternoon but so nice to be out in the fresh air.

October 26

After church, I stopped in at the neighborhood block party. Many new houses have been built recently so I got to meet a few new people.

Whenever Avery is at our house hanging out, its a treat. Often on Sundays she'll come watch the Broncos game with her dad.
