Happy Easter! He is risen! Today, I know my Redeemer lives.
This was an exciting week, especially for Shaun and Avery. They were involved in the Passion of the King Play every night except Monday and they were late nights. Quite a few of my pictures this week were play related but I decided to hold most of them to do in one post, maybe on Monday.
Aiden and Amanda? Well, they just spent the week getting bigger and smarter and cuter {wink}. I spent part of the week pumping out our basement and the other part outside doing yard work, enjoying glorious, sunny 70 degree days.
March 28
Oh the plight of the little brother! (I rescued him right after I took the picture.)
March 29
Rain. In puddles in our yard and by Tuesday a small lake in our basement.
March 30
The day before, Avery had gone in to see Aiden when he woke from his nap and she excitedly yelled to me what Aiden had done. So the next day when I went to get him up I brought my camera and was greeted by this smiling face, he was very proud of his accomplishment. Its so strange to go in and see him standing in his crib!
March 31
The time on the camera read 11:11 PM. Shaun and Avery had just gotten home and were eating dinner. (sorry, Shaun...I didn't mean to get a picture of you literally eating.:)
April 1
After Avery gave Aiden an "underdoggy" in the swing, Amanda gave her a hug and said, "Avery, I knew you could do it!" It was so pure and genuine, made this momma tear up. I was able to get a picture because after the first time they started making a game out of it.
April 2
Aiden was out helping us do yardwork. Grass is still an new and unfamiliar thing.
April 3
My attempt at an Easter picture.
Who taught the sun where to stand in the morning?
And who told the ocean you can only come this far?
And who showed the moon where to hide till evening? Whose words alone can catch a falling star?
Well I know my Redeemer lives
I know my Redeemer lives
All of creation testifies
This life within me cries
I know my Redeemer lives
The very same God
That spins things in orbit
Runs to the weary, the worn and the weak
And the same gentle hands that hold me when I'm broken
They conquered death to bring me victory
He lives
To take away my shame
And He lives
Forever I'll proclaim
That the payment for my sins
Was the precious life He gave
And now He's alive and
There's an empty
Grave!
*I know my Redeemer lives*
*I know, That I know, that I know, that I know, that I know
He lives
*my redeemer lives*
*Because He lives I can face tomorrow
He lives
*I know, I know*
He lives
*I spoke with Him this morning!* (my favorite line)
He lives
*The tomb is empty*
He lives
*He Lives! I'm going to tell everybody!!*
