This week we weathered the last stretch of tax season. Phew!

The new goalie gloves he so carefully-researched arrived.

Amy sent an arrangement she'd made in with Nathanael. They made me so happy and lots of clients commented on them.

Knowing we were in the thick of it, our friend Ryan stopped by with sugar for the office. Extra remarkable because he plays Jesus in The Passion and was busy himself, pouring hours upon hours into the show.
I took pictures during dress rehearsal. The show always brings back a flood of wonderful memories from the years our family was part of Lights Up. What an incredible opportunity for us to do ministry together....some of the best years. Little E brings just as much joy as her mom and uncle did.

It made me smile to drive by Shaun's grandfather's old house and see the daffodils that he planted so many years ago, still making their springtime appearance.
April 11
Amanda sent me a meeting link and when I joined, I found these two sweet faces, already chatting away.

With school vacation, Dakota's mom asked if he could spend a couple days with us. Being the last few days of tax season, it was inconvenient, but since she reached out, I didn't feel like I could say no. Also, we enjoy time with him and its an important connection to maintain.
The first evening they stayed busy with all manner of games.

Fun on the shuttle. Amy called them our "bonus boys". :)
It was cold and windy so I watched some of the game from the car.
Dakota's grin is so infectious - I'm glad he has you guys, and a mom who knows when to ask.
