This week ended with Amanda returning home for the summer and that was a happy thing for us all.
April 21
The Easter flowers and morning sun were eye-catching.

I got to go with Avery to her wedding hair trial.
Nathan treated all four tax offices to an end-of-season dinner. This was our entire staff for the season...a very solid, reliable group. Overall, maybe the smoothest and most uneventful year yet.
April 23
The end of the year is creeping up and with it, AP Exams and deadlines for handing in homework.
April 24
Classes were over and finals completed at Summit, so the students got their electronics and car keys back. Since Amanda had her phone, we got regular check-ins, which was fun.
Some sort of adulting conversation happening. The porch is a gathering place after work.
I joined Amanda via FT while she did the bathroom cleaning one last time
Spring is everywhere and it absolutely leaves me in wonder and awe.

Shaun, Aiden and I left early in the morning and drove to Pennsylvania to Amanda's school. The boys helped her load the last of her belongings that didn't fit in her car then we saved our seats in the church. Though Amanda has chosen to stay another year, both her roommates graduated from the one-year program, along with many of her friends.
What a gift Journey was over this year. To see them in action together, its truly a mystery how they lived 18 years without each other.
Throughout the service I was just thanking God for the miracles he's done. Just one year before we were on the campus and got completely blown away by the graduation service and the distinct feeling that the school is a very different and special place. God answers prayer and does God-sized things. Jesus has done a beautiful work in Amanda in the time she's been there.
He who began a good work will be faithful to complete it.
Amanda had been very anxious to get home, so we left shortly after the ceremony. When we got home, Jack and Avery were there and had gotten a little welcome home surprise.
Completely exhausted from a full day, I fell asleep to the sound of the girls giggling and being silly down the hall and I breathed thanks that all my kids would sleep under our roof this night.
April 27
The girls and I made decisions about Shaun's suit, which seems like it should be easier than its been.
Beautiful photos and lovely post.
