Am I the only one who has to scrub down the kitchen chairs after every meal? There seems to be a pattern for one person in particular...I would never name names. (cottage cheese...the girls are wild about it and is the most requested item at the grocery store and at snack time)
Suppose one of you has a servant who comes in from plowing the field or tending the sheep.
Would you take his coat, set the table, and say, 'Sit down and eat'?
Wouldn't you be more likely to say, 'Prepare dinner; change your clothes
and wait table for me until I've finished my coffee; then
go to the kitchen and have your supper'?
Does the servant get special thanks for doing what's expected of him?
It's the same with you. When you've done everything expected of you,
be matter-of-fact and say, 'The work is done. What we were told to do, we did.
Luke 17:7-10
Couldn't be Amanda, she is clean as a whistle!
ReplyDeletewe all sit at the same place at dinner every night. One spot on the table is more worn from wiping than any other spot!!! you can visibly see it!! hmmmmmmm.....it's my middle child too. :)
ReplyDeletenow let's quit picking on the widdle middle child...she is just a happy eater! lol. good thing she is so cute, i'm sure it works to her advantage! :D
ReplyDeleteOk, good, I thought I was the only one with the horrible mess after each and every meal!!
ReplyDeleteEvery meal I feel like I should scrub harder and longer than I do but how much time do you have in one day. I also feel like if we had a place in the kitchen to hose both of them down that would be helpful as well.
ReplyDeleteYou would NEVER EVER name names...but hey pictures...of course! Love it! I knew it was her before I even scrolled down to see the pictures! :o) Awe! :o)
