When Aiden was born, my mother-in-law gave me a precious card that said So many special moments with your new son...your camera won't be able to keep up with all the cute. That was never truer than this month, when he learned SO many news things and now with him on the move, quite literally I'm having trouble keeping up!
My little guy is 7 months old and what a month this has been! In the past 30 days, he has mastered sitting up by himself and is as steady as a rock. He also learned how to crawl and how to go from a sitting position to a crawl, which is almost automatic now. In recent days he's started to pull himself up onto low things, like the hearth...yikes! The progression has been consistent and daily I stand back and watch in awe.
No teeth yet, but he moves his lower lip back and forth on his gum, so I'm guessing its starting to feel different to him. He's eating more and more real food everyday and we haven't found anything he doesn't like. Less and less Cheerios end up on the floor with each passing day.
We went to his 6-month check-up two days ago and he weighed in at 16.10 lbs, which is the 20th percentile, and is 26 in long. He checked out great and the doctor said his speech is very advanced. Apparently its early for him to be using the syllables he does to say ba, ba, ba. I was thinking to myself, how is that fair that my boy is a good talker?? I already have two girls!!
Our little photo shoot was cut a bit short this month because Mr. Aiden is a busy man and has things to do, especially in his sisters' room where there are endless things to explore!
Aiden can often be found in his walker chewing on toys and watching his sisters' shenanigans or in his highchair eating. Let it never be said his sisters did not adore him...
Aiden is a good sleeper, sleeping through the night and still taking three naps during the day. One of my favorite times of day is putting him down to bed. Not to get rid of him but because he likes to snuggle right into me and I just love those couple quiet moments while he clings tight to me with his head on my shoulder.
So sweet how he holds his hand out in front of him and turns it around to examine it. Oh, what a new world and he is having a blast exploring it. He enjoys playing pat-a-cake and is beginning to think things are funny. He's a happy boy. We are madly in love with Baby Brudder/Dukey/Aiden
Praise the LORD. Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.
Psalm 106:1
Happy 7 months to Aiden. He is precious and his sisters look like they adore him. Reminds me of my three.
