Project 365, Week 21

We spent lots of time working on the yard this week. Earlier in the spring would be the ideal time, but we're always busy at the office and then away in Florida. So, no time like the present. :)

May 22
Shaun decided it was time to tackle some of the rough spots in our lawn.

Pretty morning sun and spring green. My walk is both peaceful and treacherous...there's not much traffic, but when there is a car they go fast and there's no shoulder.

May 25
Amanda's friend is an accomplished softball player and recognized pitcher. They are starting to get into playoffs so I let Amanda skip out of school early and we went to support her friend (who only pitched one inning before she went to right field because they were up a bunch of runs). We only stayed for an hour but Amanda got to drive both ways (and she bought me tea. :))

Then I was back in the car, headed to New York with Shaun for another PET Scan. The whole process took 2.5 hours and by the time we were done it was rush hour. We opted to stay in the area and have enjoyed dinner together.

"It's complicated" is the relationship status we've always had with Dakota and his mom. So much love and hard tied up there. It thrilled me to get this pictured texted...that kid could not have more personality.

Morning walks with this kid are a highlight.

May 27
Avery and I worked together to tackle the pantry and a kitchen cabinet.

May 28
Sunday afternoon vibes. :)

May 29
Memorial Day and one of my favorite photos from a past year.

Aiden was given the chance to work hard and make some money and then he was at a picnic with friends for the day. The rest of us did yard work-ish. We also documented the girls and I going for a walk together since its so rare.
