Project 365, Week 29

Lots of fun summer activities this week and also a lot of waiting. We were expecting follow-up calls from our doctors on Monday that didn't come until Thursday, which ended up being the perfect timing. Still, it colored the week.

July 18
Heading out to Junior High Camp!

I looked back just a few short years ago...

July 19
I was soaking in the privilege of being a soccer mom and transporting my girls to practice.

A fun check-in from camp. :)

July 20
We got to babysit the youth pastor's girls so he and his wife could both be at camp for the day. So fun to have little ones around!

The first summer league game for the girls was plenty warm. Oh so good to see them on the field again.

July 21
Aiden got home from camp and our flight took off at 7 PM. I intend to do a separate West post...it was pretty incredible.

July 22
First stop...Colorado. Shaun lived in a Denver suburb from ages 6-13. We visited his former home and walked around his neighborhood.

July 23
We drove through the Rockies headed to Utah and stopping at every scenic overlook. Shaun also found a place for the kids to dip their toes in the Colorado River.

July 24
We did the unthinkable and visited both Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon in the same day. I was the only one who had ever been there before and I was 12 years old. It was awe-inspiring!
