Here's our little flower and bumble bee. Putting costumes together stretches absolutely every creative/artistic "skill" I have. Avery had fun helping me make her flower, but I kept thinking of all the people I wished were there helping us with ideas.
There was a special open house at the nursing home that we visit. This is one of our favorite residents. She has a bear that dances and sings "Jesus Loves Me". The four of us enjoy singing it together (me for the first three times only).
Then we stopped and visited Shaun's grandparents, who were just tickled to see the costumes, then we went to my sisters' church for their Hallelujah Night, complete with games, prizes, face-painting, bouncy thing, candy and cousins.
What an awesome tradition, to stop at the nursing home! I love it...imagine the joy it brings to those sweet people.
ReplyDeleteWell, I wouldn't have guessed that you had to stretch your creativity to make these costumes because they are absolutely adorable! Is the flower made out of tissue paper? I love it, I might have to steal your idea for one of these upcoming years.
They're so stinkin' cute I can't stand it!
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job with the girl's costumes! They look adorable!!! Sounds like a fun night for all!!
