Setting My Sights on Boston

In case you were not aware, the Boston Marathon is today. We caught some of it during lunch today and even in my seventh-month-of-pregnancy state, it was very inspiring. My friend Amy and I have agreed to run it together next year. An ambitious goal that is many, many, many miles away but I think I am up for it.

This will be me next year (hopefully the one standing). Oh...and maybe, just maybe the clock will not read a "2" as the front digit.

    Great shot.... I don´t know if I´m able to run such a long way... I´m out of a breath in smaller ways...LOL

    But I´ll cross my fingers for your running plans!

    If I visit Boston I´ll come to you for trinking a cup of coffee, if I´ll be invited..

    Lately I've been thinking there's a runner somewhere in me. I'm not sure where...

    I may not be a marathon runner though. I think I should start small :)

    Hopefully the one standing...LOL! You crack me up. So...how fast do you think you can run this? What is considered an awesome time?

    I love Boston, but if I went I'd only be cheering you on from the sidelines!

    Haha! Me? Run the Boston Marathon? In my dreams ...
    Seriously, though ... I was planning on trying a 10K this year and perhaps the Hartford half-marathon with John in October ... we'll see how much actual training I can get in. I'm finding it very hard to get someone to watch the kids and go for a run ...
    But good for you! It's an excellent goal!

    Sounds like a great goal. I had two friends run in it this year and it was a great experience for them both. I think you will enjoy it so much. love ya
