I could tell from these faces that we were going downhill fast. After two warning that if she didn't listen to her teacher, or if she didn't want to dance but instead wanted to sit next to me that we would go home, we went home. I had to leave once in the middle of class with Avery back when she first started and I never had a problem with her again...we'll see if leaving early sunk in with Amanda today.

Whirly Twirly Wednesday
We've had better dance classes than today was. On the short ride home, Amanda almost fell asleep, so that may have been part of it. Do you love her outfit today? Daddy took charge of getting her ready so I could work and this is how her leotard ended up. Let's assume Shaun let Amanda put it on all by herself and that he was not a part of it being inside-out.

She is priceless! The inside out outfit is the funniest and that face was just to much. I am so tired today and whirly twirly Wednesday pics were exactly what I needed. thanks my friend much love
ReplyDeletelove that you were able to leave the leotard inside out. i have problems and would NOT have been able to let that one go. so sweet. so funny!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Phillips Phamily Mama... I would´nt habe been able, too!
ReplyDeleteYour shots are great and my fingers will be crossed, that the next lesson will turn out great!
I just look at it as one less thing I have to do and one step closer to her being able to do it correctlly by herself.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't want to discourage her (or her father) from doing good things independently of me.
I am obsessive about somethings, this just happens to not be one.
Love the shoulder up at the end. When I get the shoulder up, I know its gunna be a bad time! Wish I could capture it as you have. Great shot. Amazing how the kids don't seem to notice that we are taking pictures of their misbehaviors...mine don't change a thing when the camera comes out..keep right on with what they were doing - even if it was naughty...They are so used to it!
ReplyDeleteHa! The inside-outness just adds to the charm. It cracks me up when Savannah dresses herself and she gets things both inside out AND backwards. Like you said - all part of them learning to be independent!
ReplyDeletei have been going through your old posts, this is hilarious! just like a dad.
