October's 10 on 10

10 pictures on the 10th day of the month! {Document a snapshot of your life...find beauty among the ordinary things in your day!}

A wonderfully normal day for us.  The kind that I so desperately need scattered in once in a while to be able to handle the ones that are not so ordinary.

5 AM
Do I HAVE to go??  Ha!  In the same way you don't ask yourself if you want to eat lunch, you should not ask yourself if you want to go to the gym.  You just do....these dark, cold mornings just make it harder.  Last run before the big race!
 6:30  AM
Coffee enhances my life.  It just does.
 8 AM
Kids are all off to school....Daddy walked them today.
9 AM
I try to throw in a load of laundry and get the kitchen cleaned up right after the kids leave for the day.
10 AM
Lots of working and getting things checked off the list today!
11 AM
Aiden was very engrossed in watching the Gospel of John on the iPad and had his armour on so he didn't make it to the bathroom in time.  Change of clothes!

 12 PM
The three of us ate lunch together then it was nappy time.  We do dribble, dribble, dribble...shoot!  where I bounce him up and down on the bed and then throw him across the bed.  All this, and we still got licensed!  :)
2:45 AM
Another favorite time of day!
 4 PM
Homework time.  I don't know why I didn't throw this book away long ago...I can't stand it, but the kids often request it and now its right at Amanda's reading level.
6 PM
Football and cheerleading drop offs (on opposite ends of town)
 7 PM
Bible stories with my two snugglers.

  1. I love your comment about not asking yourself if you want to eat lunch so why ask if you want to work out? Such a good one! Is it weird that I think my favorite picture is the clean kitchen?? Makes me so happy!

  3. But I DO ask myself if I want to eat lunch (the answer is always yes, but still...). Love your ordinary day - yay for getting a lot of stuff done!

I put this on my WORK calendar so I actually remembered to participate this time!
