Project 365, Week 24

Such a fun week as we finished up the school year and attended a family wedding. Yay for summer!!!

Like everyone else, we were so saddened by the news from Orlando. Praying!

"Our culture has accepted two huge lies. The first is that if you disagree with someone’s lifestyle, you must fear or hate them. The second is that to love someone means you agree with everything they believe or do. Both are nonsense. You don’t have to compromise convictions to be compassionate." ~Rick Warren

June 6
Boy and puppy bonding.

June 7
We have spent MANY summers at the ball field, kids playing in the dirt. The faces have changed over the years, but the dirt still beckons.

June 8
The 4th grade did an extensive research project on a famous person of their choosing. Amanda chose Tim Tebow and the class presented to the friends and family. She nailed it. :)

Can't say enough about her sweet, joyful, understanding teacher who works the kids hard but also makes them enjoy it.

June 9
Last day of full uniforms.

(August 2015) First day of school last fall when the jumpers were longer and the shoes didn't have holes.

There was a morning awards ceremony for 4-7 grades. Avery and Amanda were both recognized for making honor roll each quarter.

June 10
We drove through the night to get to Tennessee where my cousin was getting married. This was the rehearsal.

June 11
Wedding Day! Daddy daughter dance with my uncle. Sweetness.

June 12
We were on the road about 17 hours, but it was so pretty driving north through the hills of Virginia.

  2. Such a cute Tebow! I wonder who I would have picked at her age. Probably Cher - ha!

    That wedding venue was lovely!
