Project 365, Week 13

The office continues to be a stretching experience, with personnel things and the amount of hours and work.  Easter Sunday was such a special time of pausing!

March 25
My trip down for my MRI was smooth, not so much on the way back.

March 26
Avery suggested we do a Taco Tuesday date and I jumped at the invitation. I'm so proud of the way she's navigating growing-up things.

March 27
Aiden has started to ride to school with Amanda, which means he can walk the dog with me in the morning, rain or shine.

March 28
I'm not sure what's happening with this picture. I know we were gathered in the same room doing homework/watching basketball.

March 29
One of my jobs is to harass reach out to people and practically beg them to sign their tax return so they can get their $10k refund.

March 30
There was a little time and daylight in between the office and Aiden's soccer game, so Shaun and Aiden, the only ones home, hit the yard in preparation for the following day. It was so far from where I wanted it, but a motto we sometimes use, not as an excuse, but a fact of our circumstances is we're doing the best that we can.

March 31
Easter Sunday! He is risen!!

We arrived early, without fighting, sat together, dressed nicely, in our church we're so grateful for, worshipping the risen King!  MY HEART!!

Avery went to the other campus with Jack and Shaun drove shuttle, but Amanda and Aiden came home and were willing helpers, getting the last things done. Then slowly the family, in total about 50, started to gather on a lovely spring day.

Everyone contributed lots of food. The ladies setup, refilled, cleaned up so that I could sit and talk and chase people around with my camera.

There was love and laughter and candy and football. Theological talks and basketball on tv. There was a baby and toddler and puppy who all got passed around. There were cousins who are friends. There was sunshine and there were so many carbs. It was a wonderful, heart-filling day.

These '06ers will be graduating in s short time from now!

Amy setup a game for the bigger kids. It involved competition and enthusiasm and running until they were out of breath. Also, candy and prizes.

  1. I know I don't comment very often, but just wanted you to know that I'm missing you! (Of course, April 15th was Monday so I'm sure it's been bonkers in your world.)
