Back in Action

This morning I was giving Amanda some much needed cuddling time (she makes it clearly known when she needs some attention...or spankings...sometimes its hard to tell) and I told her that we were going to give her another try with dance lessons.  (I had asked her if she wanted to do gymnastics or dance and she said she wanted to be a ballerina.)  She was very excited and immediately started thinking about which (way too small) leotard she was going to wear.  I stopped her before she could voice the (way too small) one she had her heart set on and said, "We'll have to get you a new leotard."  She popped right up and said, "I can wear Avery's!  Its ok Mom."  It was precious that she didn't want a new dance outfit but was content with what we already had.  Especially given the fact that most things she calls hers, clothing and otherwise, are passed down.

Later, I walked into her room and found this on her bed.  Guess she's excited and hopefully its a better experience than how we last left dance.  Some of you may remember. :)  Here's to a new, fresh start!

Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy.

  1. Awww...that sure is a good sign!I'm getting nervous about the upcoming dance year...now that we live over an hour from the studio! Gymnastics is so much easier on the parents it seams...Good for you for letting her choose! Can't wait for the pics!
