Lobster Fest ~ 6th Annual

Its Thursday already?  How can it be Thursday??  I guess starting the week on a Tuesday will do that to you.  We filled up Labor Day weekend with family and fun!  It was our 6th Annual and it was just as good as ever.

Our New York and Philly family came in on Saturday night and after church we had a delicious dinner at my sister Amy's house and a campfire.  On Sunday most of the guys got up early for a round of golf and we all met up at my sister Bethany's house in the early afternoon to begin the festivities.  It was a beautiful weather day!  We ate well, played hard and laughed.  The only downer was that my brother Tim and his family could not join us, but they are moving from Colorado to Rhode Island in just a few short weeks and we can hardly wait for them to be an easy drive the next state over.

Ok...how 'bout a whole bunch of photos now? :)

There was a very funny story about how my sister found this on the side of the road just a week ago.  Looks like a fair prize to me. :)  She's great at story-telling so if you see her, ask her to tell you.
My cousin brought his girlfriend Lauren and we all fell in love with her, especially the kids.  She played tirelessly with them and put up with 15 separate interrogating conversations from the adults. :)
Love this one of Amanda...doesn't it look perfectly natural for her to be running with a football tucked under her arm?
A lone picture of me from the weekend...one of the consequences of being the photographer.

On Monday we had brunch at my house, relaxed on the porch and walked to DQ.  A wonderful weekend!
