Mr. Aiden is already one month, though most of the time it feels like he's been with us much longer, and really, I guess he has. We've been talking about him and planning for him this whole past year.
When I told Avery that he was one-month old, she said, "Again?? We have to start all over?" No, he's not one week old, he's one month.
He's a sweet boy who likes his momma, and that suits me just fine. :) He's a good eater, which anyone can see by his cheeks and double-chin. He has started to make good eye contact but hasn't really smiled yet....we still get the blank stare. Its always nice when the smile comes along, because its kind of like a "thank you". Thank you, Mom, for the tireless way you give of yourself, around the clock. Thank you for giving up your body to grow me and now to feed me every two hours. I know your body will never be the same because of it, so I really appreciate it. Thanks for holding me when I'm screaming, even though you have lots of other things that need to be done. I'm grateful for all the sacrifices you make.
Right? Isn't that what a smile means?
His head control gets better by the day and he's able to move it pretty well when he's lying on his stomach. There have been several days when either Shaun or I will comment that he looks like he literally grew overnight. Amazing.

Such a cutie - I should say all three. Aiden is sure growing. I feel like I know him so well from the last 10 months. I posted a picture yesterday with a pair of Philip's baby shoes I found with a pair now. He will be 16 in a few weeks. Enjoy every moment and hold him tight.
