Project 365, Week 11

Yay...its Daylight Savings time!   Can you feel Spring in the air? :)

For some reason, my pictures this week seem especially boring and mundane.  I love the way our life is right now, when we can go days and days of the car not leaving the driveway, it just doesn't make for very good "headline" news. But, I am happy. :)

"the sole cause for man's unhappiness is that he does not know how to stay quietly in his own room." - Blaise Pascal

And one more favorite Twitter quote from the week...

EXCUSES:“Yes BUT..” We all have buts! I cant see mine but easily see yours! I always think your but is bigger than mine! ~Rick Warren

March 6
I had the honor of photographing the three dedication services at church.  Tons of sweetness going on!  This is one of my favorites of a big brother.
March 7
I know I just did this shot, but when I see it, I can't help but take a picture.  These two are so sweet with each other.  Avery looking out for Aiden (who still doesn't trust that the driveway is ice-free) and Aiden looking to Avery to watch out for him.
March 8
We are enjoying our times of laying together on Aiden's bed,  reading stories.
March 9
Avery is proud of her new trick, which is big for her because she's not exactly daring. :)

She let go...for a split second.
Aiden can often be found in the kitchen moving wood ("Bood") around, just like Daddy.  He grunts and groans while doing it.
March 10
Avery does math just like me....on her fingers. :)
March 11
Everyone who comes over declares how big Trot is getting, so I thought I'd post a recent picture.
Hard at work...
The girls came up with a new game.  It was a bit daring, so of course Amanda got elected/appointed to try it out first.

March 12
Aiden thought he was hot stuff with earphones on.

Linking up with Sara this week...thanks for hosting!  Have a happy week....enjoy the daylight!

  4. Your photography is stunning. I visited your photography blog. Great project going with the weekly themes. Maybe I'll recommend it to photographer friend. You could find her on FB: Karen Karki Photography.

It is difficult to pic a favorite photo: the togetherness ones, probably, especially the reading-to-Aiden one 'cause I love to read to my little ones, now the grands.

  7. Those are the kind of weeks that make you go awwwwww...... It's nice to take a breather like that now and again.

    Your pup is getting bigger.

I especially like that picture in the driveway. I'd frame it or put it on a canvas (I'm a little obsessed with them right now since the Canvas People keep giving me free ones).

  9. I am so right with you on those "days and days" of the car not leaving the driveway :)
But that certainly didn't hurt your photography! Your photos are GREAT! Love, love, love the one of Avery helping Aiden. Too precious!
And the one of Aiden carrying the wood is one of those "pictures that say a thousand words" -- *heart* it!
