The New Blue Room

My sister had come over to drop something off one day and we ended up talking on the floor in Aiden's room.  Later, I got an email from her what would you think about me re-doing Aiden's room?  I was totally open to it!

I wish I could find the "before" pictures I took.  There was no personality or method to it, just a room that had mismatched stuff throw in there.

Together we made a Pinterest board, agreeing on the blues and grays.  I also specified that I wanted to lean more towards guest room than Aiden's room, since we use it as both but he really only sleeps in there....all his toys are in another room and most of the playing happens in his sisters room.

From there she took it and ran.  She did all the painting herself and I really wasn't available for much help at all, as promised.  I love how it came out!  Aiden really likes his new "blue room" and our first house guests used it over Thanksgiving and approved.

It still could use some things, like a ceiling paint  job and new light fixture, a few more things on the walls, but I'm happy with it!

My mom even got roped in to make this pillow (Bethany painted the bird) and recover the seat cushion.

  1. Beautiful! I think my favorite part is that cream colored dresser, so pretty. And that verse from Corinthians is perfect and 1 of my favorites for my little men too!
