Project 365, Week 6

This week felt a little different with the inclusion of not one but two snow days.  While we all agree we'd rather have these days off in June, but we're doing our best to make the most of them now.

There are six more weeks of winter and the Broncos lost, yet life moves on.  :)

February 2
Another from our beautiful hike in mild temps.

Shaun got home from work just in time to watch the SuperBowl.  His formative years were spent in Denver and he's been a die-hard fan ever since.  The kids were anxious to present him with the knit Broncos hat Pop and Kiki had gotten for him at the Denver airport.  (Extra sweet because they are passionate Patriot fans.  :)

I guess there's not too much more to say about the game :(, although I thought the half time show (sans Chili Peppers) was very well done, with some class even.
 February 3
I posted the outside pictures already, this is a little of what our snow day looked like inside.

 February 4
Clue was the game of the week.
 February 5
Snow Day #2.  I took the kids to the University campus where big hills abounded.
 February 6
My favorite superhero.
Avery got to join Amanda's practice again and they ran suicides.
 February 7
Part 1 of 3 of a large school project got handed in!  A week ago, Auntie Sienna took Avery on a date to get supplies for the lettering and let Avery use her Cricket machine and R drew the Great Wall.  Avery did all the work herself and was proud of the results.

Cousins!

  1. Love love love the cousins picture - and how coordinated they are :)

I'm impressed with Avery's China board - way to go!

I was VERY sad about the Broncos. Poor Peyton. Sigh.
