I'm wildly excited about the winter we've had. Temps have been above average and snow has been scarce. We did get some snow a couple weeks ago that lasted for two days, and I'm finally getting around to posting them.
We weren't outside five minutes before Aiden had located a shovel and started working. That boy has "work" in his blood....its instinctual for him.Amanda showed him the fine art of mixing snow and syrup.
My sweet princess.
More work.
The next day...
I don't think the way you think. The way you work isn't the way I work." God's Decree. "For as the sky soars high above earth, so the way I work surpasses the way you work, and the way I think is beyond the way you think. Just as rain and snow descend from the skies and don't go back until they've watered the earth, Doing their work of making things grow and blossom, producing seed for farmers and food for the hungry, So will the words that come out of my mouth not come back empty-handed. They'll do the work I sent them to do, they'll complete the assignment I gave them.
Isaiah 55:8-11
Hi Lisa...These were cute pictures of the kids playing in the snow.
ReplyDeleteThe kids in Denver today are getting a lot of snow! Here in Kansas we just have rain. But oh my goodness, the last several days before the rain have been simply delightful!
Weather has been so different lately. This winter so far has been so mild here in Kansas.
Have a good day, and a great weekend.
Linda
We haven't had any snow to speak of & darn it I feel cheated! How can I complain about winter if there isn't any? Ha!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the pics of the kids - they are so joyful. I hope Aiden never loses his love of work - that will help him a lot! [Says the girl who never liked chores.]
There hats look so cute on them. Sorry about Amandas I should of done more pink. Thought it was turquoise with yellow - next year.
