The Show Must Go On

When I'm back at the old house, which is now empty and sadly lifeless, I am flooded with remembrances of sweet times there. Nearly fifteen years of life happened within those walls.

I'm going to cut to the pictures before I start crying.  :)  Really, I'm so grateful for our new place, but the other place will always hold some amazing memories.  Yes, we brought our three babies home there,  but mostly its the in-between life that happened that's the sweetest in my mind's eye.

The kids spent a ton of time in the girls' room.  Particularly when it was clean, it really was the perfect place to play....barbies, "the baby game", "mom and dad", trucks, blocks, hide-n-seek, recreation of Passion of the King scenes, jump-on-the-bed, etc.

This day over the summer, the girls had written a song and were doing a performance for us.

See, the former things have taken place,
    and new things I declare;
before they spring into being
    I announce them to you.
