Parties, Races, and Games

We had a fun weekend, filled with lots of family time. Its always nice when we all get together, for many reasons. One is that there are extra (and willing) hands to take the babies.

The boys called each other before Nathanael's party so they could wear the same outfit. My Aunt Bonnie gave them these outfits...aren't they adorable? We have to get in the pictures now before these dudes are on the move.

Saturday we got up bright and early to watch Shaun's sister Sarah run her first 1/2 marathon. We picked a good spot to watch and waited and waited and then waited some more. (because we got there early, not because it took her so long).

We finally spotted her and she was still able to smile and lift her arm just 1/4 mile from the finish line.
Amanda was very tired and had a little meltdown. This is the side of her that balances out the way-too-cute side.
After the race we played at the park while we waited to hook up with Auntie Sarah.

Sarah had us over for lunch and the Cousins got to play together. Aiden seemed tickled to have some company for tummy time.

Avery got her fill of holding babies this weekend. All her Aunties are very good about letting her hold their baby, especially since she has no discernment of when its a good time to ask.

After lunch we all went to watch my nephew Jared play baseball.

Here's the crew, except for that lady in green. She's not part of the family and Amanda asked her why she was sitting there.

Its such a great time of year in New England and we are blessed to have most of our family so close.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

  2. Those babies are ADORABLE! I can honestly say that I miss having little babies around now. They are so, so sweet.

    The outfits are precious, too.

And I love the look on the face of the one Avery is holding. So cute!
