The Big Apple

Last weekend we went to NYC to pick up Shaun from the airport.  Since we were there, we thought it'd be a shame to not do the city with the kids.  Our girls had been there once before to see Mary Poppins on Broadway, but Aiden and Z had never been.  They were all very enthusiastic about the experience.

Shaun and I go to NYC or Boston somewhat regularly, but it definitely is a different experience with kids.  They were great walkers and no one got lost, so we were happy.  :)
After dinner we walked around just for a bit before heading back to our hotel.  It is a "must" to experience Times Square at night.
Aiden was beyond ecstatic to see Woody and gave him several high fives.  The next morning we were walking to breakfast and Aiden said, Mom, this is where Woody was last night.  To my utter shock, it was the exact spot where we'd seen Woody the night before.  He does that often while we are driving in the car, but Times Square is nuts!  How would a little three foot person know that??

The rain was off and on, enough that we'd just duck under a door overhang for five minutes to wait it out until the next downpour.

Aiden's favorite part was seeing Pider Man and Iron Man.
